Workplace Trends Research Summit – Call for Abstracts
Cavendish Conference Centre, London & Online
10:00am – 4.30pm GMT+1, followed by Drinks Social

Do you or colleagues have recent innovative research or a data driven case study on work and the workplace that you’d like to share at our next conference? If so, applications are open for speaking opportunities and we’d love to hear from you.
Here’s everything you should need to submit an application to speak at the Workplace Trends Research Summit on Thursday 18 April 2024. Please read the following notes before making your application.
About the Programme
Most speaking sessions are filled with the highest ranked submissions from this call for abstracts of published applied research into workplace design and management. We are also interested in data-driven case studies to add to the programme.
Audience
The summit attracts around 200 delegates from the workplace community – workplace consultants, occupiers, designers, architects, researchers and suppliers – all keen to learn about the latest research into work and the workplace and how it can be applied for practical benefit.
Presentations
Slots are 30 minutes in length, which includes 20-25 minutes of presentation and 5-10 minutes of Q&A. Content should be based on research findings or data-driven case studies on workplace design and management, that are recently published (paper or web) or due to be published by April 2023. Speakers must be able to provide a link to their research at the time of the Summit.
Location
The event will be held in London and also streamed live. We would like as many speakers as possible to attend the London event in person and are only able to accommodate a limited number of remote presentations.
Filming
Successful speakers must be willing for their presentations to be filmed as we will live stream the event and make the recordings available afterwards to selected customers. Speakers will be sent a copy of their recordings to use for their own purposes.
Scoring Criteria
Abstracts are blind reviewed by our selection team, and are scored using the following criteria: We then select the top performing submissions to take part in the Summit.
- Original, innovative idea and content
- Credible research methodology
- Backed up by good evidence/data
- Independent unbiased research
- Interesting content
- Non-commercial content
- Relevance to Workplace Trends audience
