Deborah Wilder - Interaction

I head up workplace research and strategy for leading strategic workplace design and build specialist, Interaction. I trained as a research health psychologist, specialising in preventative health and behavioural change. After a few years in academia, slightly frustrated by the slow pace and spurred on by my love of interior design, I pivoted to workplace psychology and design.

As well as academia, I have extensive experience in many sectors – publishing, investment banking, tech start ups, public sector, and more. My passion still remains in encouraging physical activity and healthy eating in the workplace.  But this has  widened to encompass mental health in the workplace, environmental sustainability, and workplace technology solutions.

Our team at Interaction are having a fascinating and very busy time helping  clients to develop, plan and introduce the long overdue changes to ways of working and workplace ecosystem design. As well as conducting research on behalf of clients, we also run our own research projects to enable us to be as well informed as possible. Being  part of a workplace design and build business gives us the added benefit of working very closely with our talented team of designers to translating our consultancy findings into feasibility test fits, space plans, and designs.
